Yantha Wellness
Hello and welcome! Thank you so much for stopping by.
First, let me introduce myself.
My name is Katie Yantha and I’m a Yoga, Meditation, and Pranayama teacher.
I’ve completed 500 hours of Vinyasa-based teacher training in India (one of my favorite places on earth) and furthered my education by completing courses in Meditation, Pranayama, and Trauma-sensitive yoga.
I also happen to be an enthusiastic Writer and consumer of all things wellness, yoga, nutrition, and spirituality.
If I do say so myself, I’ve picked up a few tips and tricks during my many laps of the sun. My hope is to share my knowledge to help others become their best, healthiest selves, and MAYBE even have some fun while we’re at it!
My Approach to Teaching
Yantha Wellness yoga classes are an open invitation for students of all abilities and backgrounds to safely engage their physical, spiritual, and emotional selves.
Find Students’ Limits, Safely
My sequences are expertly designed to release tension, strengthen the mind and body, and challenge practitioners while minimizing the risk of injury.
Make Space For Spirituality
I integrate spiritual offerings during our sessions together. Whatever you believe, there’s room here for you to explore and express through your practice during classes.
Create a Trauma-Aware Environment
Having studied trauma in both college and teacher trainings, my classes incorporate subtle changes that reduce potential triggers.
Base Instruction On Anatomical Study
I’ve dedicated a good portion of my training to understanding the human body. This insight increases student safety and improves results.
